The Exmoor Pony Workshop – 4-Hour Session

Join William Jones-Warner for a half-day photographic workshop focused on capturing the beauty and wild spirit of the Exmoor Pony. Whether you’re looking to refine your composition, explore natural light, or master your camera’s settings, this workshop is tailored to help you take your photography to the next level.

We begin at 9:00am at the Old Village Hall in Winsford with a short introduction before heading out onto the moor — either on foot or by car — to find and photograph a pony herd in their natural surroundings. We will be spending the day on the moors surrounding Winsford Hill.

You’ll have the flexibility to choose how you spend the session:

  • Option 1: Spend the full four hours on the moor, with William offering guidance and feedback as you photograph.

  • Option 2: Return to the Village Hall a little earlier for a hands-on tutorial on editing your images from the day, ensuring you leave with a fully edited photograph you're happy with.

The workshop concludes at 1:00pm, with the option to take away both practical shooting experience and a polished final image. Timings can also be amended to fit your preference.

Cost

Cost for an individual per day is £250. If you are coming as a pair or with a friend the second person will be charged at a reduced rate of £100.

If you are booking as part of a group I can discuss possibilities and costs independently to make sure it is right for you.
