Exmoor Pony Photography Workshop with William Jones-Warner

Join William Jones-Warner for a half-day workshop dedicated to photographing the unique beauty and untamed character of the Exmoor Pony. Whether you’re aiming to refine your composition, experiment with natural light, or gain confidence with your camera’s settings, this session is designed to help you elevate your photography skills.

We’ll begin with a short introduction at the Old Village Hall in Winsford, Somerset before heading out onto the moor—on foot or by car—to locate and photograph a herd of ponies in their natural surroundings. The workshop will take place on the moors around Winsford Hill, offering stunning opportunities for both wildlife and landscape photography.

You’ll have two ways to structure your session:

  • Option 1: Spend the full time out on the moor, photographing with William’s guidance and feedback throughout.

  • Option 2: Return to the Village Hall a little earlier for a practical editing tutorial, where William will guide you through post-processing techniques so you leave with a finished image you’re proud of.

Workshop Details

  • Dates: 16th – 23rd November 2025

  • Times: Morning session (8:30–11:30) or Afternoon session (13:00–16:00). Timings are flexible and can be adjusted to include sunrise or sunset if you wish.

  • Location: Old Village Hall, Winsford, Exmoor

Cost

  • Individual: £250

  • Pair/Friend: £250 for the first person, £100 for the second

  • Groups (E.g. Camera Clubs): Bespoke pricing available on request, max 4 People.
